“Kultūros tvartas 2003” (Cote of Culture 2003)

The first arts’ festival Kultūros tvartas 2003 in the open air, 25 hours of music at a stretch was in August 2003. The participants and guests of the festival appreciated it very much. They had a marvelous opportunity to spend the last summer days in romantic atmosphere of the castle of count Tiskevicius (registered in the list of the cultural worth) and to dive in the synthesis of the different arts. The heavy rain and the wet wind did not frightened off the true enthusiasts. As the press wrote after “The strange name of the festival, that passed in Tiskevicius castle, met the reality - already famous and “new born” musicians were playing during the festival, video artists showed their works, despite of the real cote ambience. Everywhere were full of swamps, the dancers put the plastic bags on the shoes and were dancing on the wooden platform " (LŽ the 2nd of September 2003 Nr. 204).
